This is my favorite summer bag, and I always receive many compliments on the color......so I figured I could knit a bag
Here is the pattern, Felted Doctors Bag by Pipps Purses designed by Jennifer Pace. My yarn is balled and ready for action!
I had some Math to figure out....goodness my brain hurt for a while. Anyway, I figured how to make the stripes and evenly work the pattern.....this is stage one, I am finished with the front of the bag, and working the pattern in less width rows for the bottom. My hands are tired, but the colors are 2-5 rows, so it goes fast..... this will be awesome when finished and I hope to have it monogramed in chocolate brown like my fabric bag..... cool!!

Hi Amy! You matched those colors perfectly! Can't wait to see it felted! Will you do needle felting for the monogram? Miss you!!!!
I'm not sure..but don't think I can get free hand a monogram as nicely as a machine done one....I will take it to a shop first.... I miss you too, plus all the activities that go on around the shop. Thought I could "sneak" away for TNN, but I just couldn't make it work with our schedule. I'll have to get up there this summer for a long weekend, or mid week to weekend. thanks for looking at my blog :-)
Thanks for giving this design a try and for sharing your blog with me. I love to watch projects progress.
You color selections are fantastic.
